Albania, the land where the communist dictatorship ruled for half a century, the land where Satan destroyed all the churches and killed God's faithful people, the land where atheism was the main spiritual doctrine constitutionally forbidding the Albanians to worship the Lord and know God's Word, the land where the Bible was considered the most dangerous book for which many Christians were executed. Yes, Albania has been for centuries one of Satan's strongest fortress in the world.

But God loves Albania and He has a wonderful plan to spread the Light among the lost who live in that dark territory. God put a burden in our heart to take His Word to our countrymen. We have been working hard for the last eight years to finish the Albanian translation of the New Testament directly from Biblical Greek. And it is finished! All the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. This project was sponsored by our home church Shadow Mountain Community Church in San Diego. Albanians now have an accurate translation of the New Testament in their language, together with an Albanian-Greek Interlinear version, the study notes, a concordance and a koiné Greek-Albanian dictionary of the New Testament words.

The battle to take the Light to Albania is not over yet. The Word would not be complete without the Old Testament and the Albanians need the entire Holy Scriptures in their own language. This is what we are praying for and working toward. After studying Biblical Hebrew in Westminster Theological Seminary, we are now working on this new and blessed challenge: the Albanian Old Testament Project which would include the Albanian translation of the Old Testament from Biblical Hebrew, the Albanian-Hebrew Interlinear version, the study notes, the concordance and the Biblical Hebrew-Albanian dictionary.

What a joy to devote our life to our Lord Jesus Christ and use God's graciously given gifts to take the Word to Albanians, this  long-suffering and spiritually deprived people! The communist dictatorship and political turmoil made more than a million unreached Albanians flee from their land and settle overseas. Using this recently translated Albanian New Testament, we are now serving the Lord to reach these Albanians who don't know the glory of Jesus Christ; we are building a bridge to cross over the gap to reach the lost and help them see the Light. Filling the GAP (Global Access Partnership), a ministry developed under the auspices of Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE), is what we are now wholeheartedly involved as missionaries of ABWE.

The Albanian Old Testament Project needs prayers, lots of prayers, support and encouragement.
